I must admit, it was hard to drag myself back into the office after the gorgeous weather that we've had over the past couple of days, but here I am.
This weekend I made a deal with myself. I decided to use a trick that I learned from the very first therapist I ever visited (which was back in college): Anytime my mind wonders to worry or negative thoughts, I visualize a STOP sign in my mind. It's so easy to use precious energy going over & over a situation in your mind, or envisioning a conversation that you hope to have, but it is such a waste of the current moment (not to mention our energy).
